According to the manufacturer, a humidity dome is not needed.
In our experience as well as other users, it is recommended to foliar spray 1-2 times a day even though the manufacturer states it’s not needed. Numerous individuals, including myself have noticed a significant difference when spraying.
One of the biggest advantages Ez-Clone has on other cloners & cheap Amazon cloners is that the clones don’t need to have a humidity dome.
When clones are rooted in a Ez-Cloner, they can immediately be put into grow media once roots are established. Un-like others bands, Not only does this allow the plants to breathe and transpire, but it also drastically reduces the risk of airborne fungi such as powdery mildew and it eliminates plant stress.
With the Ez-Cloner, there is no worrying about acclimating the plant to humidity before planting in media. This saves significant time.
Ez-Cloner and other cloners come with black pucks. Myself & others prefer using different colored pucks. This makes it easier to track what strain is what and they all don’t look the same.
Regardless of what type of cloner you have, nozzles need to be checked daily to prevent clogging. Without this preventative measure some clones may not receive nutrients or water. No one wants this kind of surprise, as it can lead to a possibility of killing your clones. Maintenance is key here. It is also critical to monitor the water inside the cloner for optimal cloning results.
