Once again, while browsing Instagram, I came across @deschutes.growery out of Bend, Oregon. Their photos present their winsome plants like a portrait of a celebrity. Each plant has so much character; every picture branded with their DG logo on the side. The caption of this particular post reads: “Drugs. Very few have such a tangled history as a medicine. Prejudice, superstition, emotionalism, have managed to lead cannabis to the ups and downs of concerning both it’s therapeutic properties and its toxicological and dependence – including effects. As a flower connoisseur, I shopped around Portland to find where I could get my mitts on some of their product. Oregon’s Finest Dispensary, in the Pearl District, down the street from my house providentially happened to have DG’s Hell’s OG & Cookie Wreck.
I rolled myself a joint and continued to have myself a creative evening. The quality came across immediately. There’s a taste that is drastically different when a flower is grown this clean.
